Smith & Wesson's compact nine is also designed for easier shooting, allowing shooters to focus on accuracy. The 2.0 Compact features an 18-degree grip for a more natural feel and a low-profile barrel to reduce barrel roll due to the recoil and help ensure more accurate images later. The gun features a solid feel in the grip and includes different grip inserts to suit the owner's specific hand.

Above all, the M&P 2.0 Compact is extremely reliable. In a long test, the American Rifleman put 2,016 rounds, mostly 124-grain Sig Sauer bullets, through the rifle without incident. The gun was cleaned twice, once before testing and once at the one-thousand-round mark, but it will still be there.
