smith & wesson vs glock

Smith & Wesson Vs Glock - Ah, the never-ending debate: 'Which gun will dominate the field of concealed carry'?

When comparing the Smith&Wesson M&P9 M2.0 c (“c” stands for “compact”) and the Glock 19, I believe that the outcome alone will lead you to one or the other.

They are all the same and comparing them is a bit pointless because all that separates them is little information, rather than identifying strengths and weaknesses. Many factors will change which gun is right for you and your situation.

On the larger side at 6'2, I could carry the entire rifle, but I was not comfortable with the heavier press and the longer stock and barrel instead of availability In addition, I have all the pistols discussed in this article and I handle everything I need.

When choosing the right gun for you, strike a balance between size, caliber, and power.

Carrying a .22 caliber derringer style gun is the easiest to carry but not the best, the same goes for the "Dirty Harry" big gun. Something in between is good, and the G19 and M&P9 strike that perfect balance.

This is why the G19 and M&P9 shine and why many consider them to be the best balance of all, a popular choice for a good portion of the general public.

Glock has long been a leader in this area since they released the G19 in 1988. Since then, it has been considered the "near perfect" for most concealed carry. .

In a move that made everyone wonder why it took so long, Smith and Wesson introduced the compact M&P92.0 to fit the G19.

Both conversions are equally powerful and reliable to maintain while being designed to perform in all conditions. While the Glock has a longer track record with front end and more legal action, the M&P is reliable and trustworthy in Glock-loving circles.

The M&P, I also own the G19 because it's a good gun that I know I can trust. It mostly comes down to what you need and how much you're willing to buy and carry.

Since both of these pistols are new purchases for about the same price ($500-$600), it can be difficult to decide which one to pick up as the new CCW pistol. Here are some things I've seen to help you make a decision:

If you already own and shoot other Glocks, I recommend staying with the G19. The grip angle will feel right at home in your hands, and you'll have no trouble picking it up and scoring the first round.

If you grew up on other guns, it may take some time to get used to the angle of the gun. The only thing is that it takes a little time to break away from the old ways. This is not a difficult task, and we could all use a little extra time.

In my opinion, the M&P has a more natural edge and complements my hand better than the G19. All new models of each gun have a special gun-specific contact recovery strap.

The stippling on the M&P is too small for me. The sleeve looks good, but I don't like the rough color rubbing against my skin. I like to carry it with a vest between me and the gun to help prevent whiplash.

Both pistols boast a 9mm 15-round magazine, but each can also take 17-round mags. The M&P 9 c 2.0 comes with two additional clips that slide under the 17-round mags for easy handling. The G19 does not include these accessories but can be purchased from retailers.

Since both guns have longer grips for my larger-than-average hands, these additions are more attractive than others, in my opinion.

This description is better than the M&P in my book, but it is important to note that these metal mags are more expensive than the polymer mags available for the G19.

You can easily find anywhere from $10-$20 for a G19 but I have seen several M&P's at my local gun store for $50 each.

If you want, you can also find mags for the Glock that exceed the 17-round limit of the M&P, as well as 33-round and 50-round auto magazines. It might not work for CCW, but it's a lot of fun to have.

While there are magazine attachments available for the M&P, there are few options for higher capacity like the G19.

The trigger is the most obvious difference between the two pistols. I don't like the M&P because it doesn't, looks bad and has a better trigger than stock Glocks. The M&P Pro Series is a better deal for a higher selling price, but I haven't had a chance to find one yet.

If you plan on changing the trigger, like me, it probably doesn't matter to you. I recommend that you hold both pistols in your hands and feel the difference between them to decide which one you want or which one you care about most.

Products from Apex Tactical are my go-to for stocking stuffers, but that doesn't mean the M&P9 M2.0 c is useless without upgrades. A very good trigger. I want something smooth and sharp.

The sales information on the G19 is polymer, nothing to write home about although it is good for what they expect. However, I think they are much better than the M&P.

The M&P's steel sights seem so sharp, I've seen them rip holes in my shirt and dig badly into my skin.

If you decide to buy an M&P, you may want to get a display kit from a specialist company like HI VIZ to help with this. Aside from the unpredictable and unpredictable angles, the M&P's sights are good for accuracy and target acquisition, and they are adequate.

Both of these pistols are very useful for what you want them to do: save your life. In fact, it can be used as a large combat or CCW pistol.

Their popularity makes it easy to find improvements and maintain good quality because almost all roofing manufacturers have special supplies for these guns.

Since these pistols are not pocket-sized, they are easy to handle and can be used for most hands.

Both are good guns, you have to trust them and the right choice is better than anything. Looking back at this article it seems that the Glock 19 is my CCW pistol of choice because there are a few issues with the M&P and the G19:

If that's what you have to put up with, why not go with Glock? Because, for me, the M&P just shoots. It looks like I have a few things to adjust to make it to the first round.

Try them all. There are many lines that offer discounts on guns so you can decide which one is best for you. Who did you choose? Let us know in the comments below.

Shelley points out some of the advantages of the M&P over the Glock, including special controls, a rear sight that fits in different hands, and a built-in space.

I own both and have cycled through multiple copies of both models (with all due respect to Shelley, ours at 10-8 is highly regarded ,) I have to agree with the blogger Vuurwapen for this, the reasons for the M&P 9mm are correct. Almost stock Glock 17 cases, I can hold better than three inches at 25 yards using factory bullets. With most M&Ps, my groups at the same distance use single eight-inch weapons.

To add insult to injury, most M&Ps come with bad triggers that are unusable out of the box. The end user should either return the rifle to an S&W Performance Center for a sear adjustment or purchase the best Apex Tactical Hard Sear available. It still comes with triggers in the box.

That being said, the M&P in 45 caliber is very accurate, and when matched with a Center (or better yet, an Apex Tactical sear), the product is very good. Have a 9mm M&P and a Action Center
